Dynamite Kid-Esqe in the Contest [123 Kid]

Sean Waltman was the 2 - 3 Kid.
It's a gimmick that I can't forget.
It's a series of matches. When he beat the bad guy,
had to rewind and check my glasses.

Couldn't believe what I saw!
Afterwards, I decided to draw a crayon picture of
the moment when it happened.
The 2 - 3 Kid had pinned Razor without question.

Many saw it as a major upset.
Many people watched it on their television set.
Many people stood to their feet if they were in the
seating in the arena. I wish that was me!

Gotta love it every time Coliseum Video
shows me a match from '96 or below.
I would argue that's my favorite era.
I will show you tapes if you beg to differ.

He was "The Kid". On Raw. As the underdog.
An average jobber, at least that's what you thought you saw.
Got the win by surprise. A moonsault from the top rope.
People stood up. They all rose. (All rose.)

Randy Savage called the match, that means throughout it, I laughed.
Said Waltman was the Cosmic Kid. Vince corrected him.
Please, look into it; I guarantee you'll grin.
And what more could you ask for in the life you're livin'?

In PWA, won the light heavyweight belt twice.
Among a list that includes Ricky Rice.
Jerry Lynn, and the man, Steven Regal.
Sean also won the Iron Horse TV Title.

After that match, the 2 - 3 Kid was his name.
Went on to achieve many wins and huge fame
in the late nineties. Don't forget WC dub.
In the Order, he was the sixth member.

6Pac; the combination of names he used a lot.
IWA East Coast? He showed up.
Cut a promo, had a match in the main event.
Him and Jerry Lynn won the tag championship

two times in '93. A little piece of history.
Said what's up to Shawn at the Gathering.
Sped past the campsite, holdin' on, ridin'
a golf cart. When he flew through, I thought of this tune.

Rockin' a mullet. Sometimes an opponent would pull it.
Dynamite Kid-Esqe in the contest. He would school it
every single card, had an impressive showing.
Exploding from the backstage to the rope ring.

Through a sea of fans, through a sea of chants.
People buyin' tickets so they could witness.
Back in '94 the Federation needed that.
Someone to do quick flips and acrobat stunts.

Reminiscent of the British Bulldogs, 'cause
he overcame his size with impressive maneuvers.
Opponent's in a stupor, but I'm feelin' super.
The time I dedicated to the tube was well worth it.
